Last night, Israel set free 90 Palestinian detainees while Hamas released 3 hostages it held as the ceasefire began to take hold.
In a major relief, the shaky truce between Israel and Hamas passed through its initial hurdle. Three Israeli hostages surrendered to the Hamas in Gaza after which ninety Palestinian prisoners who were confined by the Israelis were released heightening optimism in positive relations after one-and-half years of harsh fighting.
The truce signed last Wednesday started on Sunday morning with a short interruption, when Israel insisted on getting a list of the hostages that Hamas is to free.
