Reliance Industries Q3 Results: Growth across Jio, O2C and Retail; Oil &amp; Gas has its issues
Highlights of Reliance Industries Q3 Performance:
Petrochemicals and upstream oil giant Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), owned by Mukesh Ambani, revealed its actual Q3 FY25 figures, which describe a 7.4% Year-on-Year (YoY) improvement for its consolidated net PPP of ₹18,540 Crore. Consolidated revenues were also up 6.7% YoY to ₹2,40,582 crore for the year due to strong showings in its digital services, retail businesses, and other operating and conversion segments.

O2C Segment Performance
O2C business was the largest reporting a revenue of ₹149,595 crore, up by 6% YoY. Domestic fuel retailing was also impressive and for MS it was 43.7% higher and HSD was 22.8% for the period.
EBITDA: ₹14,402 crore (+2.4% YoY)
Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries Limited stressed how the segment operates and thrives in the context of the global energy market being volatile by using refining margin to gain back and efficiently adopting the feedstock used.

Reliance Jio Platforms Sr Performance
The younger telecom player, Reliance Jio, also remained in growth paths with ₹33,074 crore, a YoY growth of 19.4%. Digital services growth was stimulated by subscriber additions, transitioning of people to 5G, and solid KPIs.
Reliance Retail Performance
Reliance Retail has added 779 outlets launching a total of 19,102 stores and operation space of 77.4 million sq. feet. The quarter witnessed 296 million footfalls, which has increased by 5% YoY.

The Performance of the Oil and Gas Business
Oil &amp; Gas business segment declined by 5.2% with revenues of ₹6,370 crore mainly due to reduced gas sales volume period and realization. EBITDA came down further to ₹5,565 crore, a YoY decline of 4.1% and, EBITDA margin at 87.4%.

Q3 results show growth in Jio, O2C & retail businesses, with a net profit of ₹18,540 Cr. (+7.4% & Oil & Gas revenue declined by 5.2%.
